Affiliate Marketing is becoming popular among bloggers, because combining with PPC ad like Google Adsense it can dramatically increase income from blog. But what I notice many of those bloggers fail to find out the perfect product and hence as a result of low (or no) profit from promoting it thinks it's not a perfect form of blog monetization technique.

So today I'm going to discuss how to choose affiliate products for your blog.

i) Relevancy is the Key :

Put yourself in your readers shoes, now think what you expect from the blog (actually your blog) you are visiting?

It's obviously suggestion, tips and discussion about the niche (topic) the blog generally discuss (and for whom you became a regular reader of that blog).

Now if the blog owner (you) suggest a product in which you are not familiar or not falls in your interest then wouldn't it iritate you. Doesn't it prove that the blog owner (you) are thinking only to improve income because of the selling generated from his/her recommendation rather than thinking about loyal readers.

This practice is itself enough to decrease your reputation and credibility on blogospere.

So what to do?

Just recommend the relevant product (topic of the product should be somehow similar to your blog's discussed matter) your reader find attractive and valuable.

ii) Promote only Quality Products on which you don't have any doubt :

Would you like to spend money just for testing a product (without being confirmed that it's not worthless) or to try your best to find out and buy the best product your money can buy?

Same thing is also applicable for all of your readers as well, they want to profited because of the product they buy. Now, if they buy a product because of your recommendation (they are loyal readers and think what you promote will obviously be useful for them) and find it's not upto the mark then wouldn't they became skeptical about your further recommendation? Even if your luck is bad enough then they became unsubscribe you and start visit you seldom.

We, blogger are here to build long term realtionship with readers in order to maintain our online journey, then why should anyone of us should recommend a valueless product?

Who doesn't know Rome dynasty wasn't build in a single day?

To keep out from this gloomy situation only promote product on which you don't have any doubt and you are sure your readers would thank you after collecting your recommend item.

I think these two is the most required practice to follow if you really want to earn good residual income from affiliate marketing.
